The investment in a custom fishing rod is a joint effort between the rod builder and the fisherman.  The rod builder needs to determine the exact requirements of the finished rod and the needs of the fisherman to build a rod with optimum performance.  I only use the best blanks and components such as Lamiglas, Calstar, Seeker, Fuji and Aftco.
